Tweed Holiday Parks has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrative officer to join our award winning, high performing and supportive team.
Tweed Holiday Parks (THP) manages seven holiday parks from Tweed Heads in the north to Pottsville South, spanning a total area of 24 hectares. The position provides high level administrative support for the THP Unit including office management and accounting services and has daily contact with the Holiday Park Managers.
About the role:
- provides support to the holiday park managers for the operation and maintenance of computer-based applications
- oversees the accounting and reservation systems and ensures all receipting, sales analysis, accounts payable and other associated functions are managed
- provides accounting services including purchasing controls and financial reporting for the holiday park operations
- interacts extensively with suppliers of goods and services and other units and divisions at officer level
- undertakes desktop publishing activities
- communicates with holiday park guests including writing replies to guest compliments, complaints and reviews across various platforms

We are seeking:
- knowledge of computer hardware and competence in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, word processing and desktop publishing
- knowledge of accounting systems, i.e. general ledger, debtors and creditors, purchase orders and report design
- high level administration, relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
- a certificate in Business Administration or similar is highly desirable
- exposure to the tourism industry is desirable

This position is based in Tweed Heads and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
