  • Annual salary from $118,657.56 - $128,439.14 + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance + 11.5% superannuation
  • Permanent full time, 35 hours
  • Flexible work arrangements

The Operational Team are currently in search of an experienced Senior Contract Officer for their Civil Works section to deliver positive outcomes for the organisation and community, through our ongoing commitment to deliver a range of services and programs.

About Role:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced full-time Senior Contract Administrator to program, plan, and coordinate the successful completion of council projects dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. Working within the Operational team you will liaise with contractors and staff daily to ensure the project outcomes are met. Council projects can include but are not limited to Civil and Landscape Construction works; drainage, roads, footpaths, service reticulation, Fencing, minor building works and Playgrounds.

What we are seeking

  • Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • High level knowledge and experience in administering construction contracts including risk management, performance management, quality and cost control
  • Excellent knowledge of project and contract administration strategies
  • High level oral and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of design and construction processes for building and civil engineering projects, commercial contractual arrangements, NSW building industry legislation and codes of practice and relevant policies, practices and procedures, environmental, social, economic and financial matters.
  • NSW Class C Drivers Licence
  • NSW White Card or equivalent
