About the role

Are you looking for an opportunity to work as an Engineer on our Civil projects?  Do you like a variety of work across a wide geographic area? 

If you are interested in overseeing the delivery of construction and maintenance projects and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Civil Liabilities Act, apply to join Clarence Valley Council’s Civil Services team for the opportunity to grow your skills in one of the most scenic, beautiful and geographically diverse areas of New South Wales.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Engineer to lead the effective and efficient delivery of services under the Road Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC). This pivotal role will involve successful project management of major projects, provide support for emergency response efforts during natural disasters, manage the delivery of the RMCC program in compliance with Transport for NSW contract and specification requirements, and liaise with government agencies, industry groups, and community stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot in South Grafton, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
