Position Numbers: 10033 & 10035              Location: Queanbeyan

The Package: $117,745.96 - $128,009.72 gross per annum + 11.5% super, including Market Premium. (Evaluated as Grade 15 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Fulltime– 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.

Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Join QPRC’s Finance team as a Senior Finance Business Partner, where you’ll play a key role in driving financial sustainability and supporting community-focused projects.

In this role you will:

• Maintain strong financial accounting practices
• Assist in financial planning, budgeting and performance reporting for Council
• Provide support to the Deputy CFO and mentorship to the broader finance team.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Tertiary Qualification in Accounting and/or Commerce.
• Is experienced in cost benefit analysis, financial planning and budgetary control.
• Has extensive experience in the preparation of financial statements
• Has experience in the local government finance environment.
