This new position within the Governance and Councillor Support team focuses on ensuring the primary team functions are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
You are tertiary qualified in public administration, business, law, economics or commerce, and have highly developed research skills. With a passion for accuracy and strong attention to detail, you are able to assess, review and, if required, provide technical advice on compliance issues relating to delegations and authorisations, and statutory registers.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria when completing your online application:
- Ability to read and interpret relevant Acts and Regulations
- A comprehensive knowledge of the Australian framework of government and intergovernmental relations
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
We are offering a gross annual salary range of $95,325 - $102,522 per annum and:
- 11.5% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute a further 5% superannuation
- A variety of health and wellbeing programmes including a physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
