Your Role as a Senior Painter

As a Senior Painter, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality painting and decorating services for the Council’s assets. You will assist in overseeing the painting program, ensuring timely organisation of supplies, and maintaining accurate documentation. Your expertise will be essential in executing painting projects across various settings, including buildings, parks, and sporting facilities.

In this position, you’ll provide estimates for time and materials, recommend products for long-lasting results, and uphold our commitment to safety and quality. Your leadership will guide a skilled team, fostering an environment where collaboration and efficiency thrive.

Who We're Looking For

We seek a passionate and motivated individual ready to make a difference in our community. If you possess a strong background in painting & decorating and have a knack for team leadership, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

  • Trade Certificate in Painting & Decorating
  • Class C driver’s licence and WHS Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Experience in interpreting technical specifications and coordinating teams
  • Strong ability to estimate materials and timelines for various projects
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service

  • Package: $76,400 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Permanent full time 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight
