Exciting opportunity to use your design, construction management and engineering skills to help deliver civil projects for the Manningham community. This role plays a vital role in the design, procuring and managing civil infrastructure projects from shared paths to bus shelter and drainage works with everything in between. You’ll join a collaborative and people focused team that are all able to assist your growth.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for the design and delivery of Councils Civil projects from design through to delivery. The incumbent will utilise their experience to deliver complex and high impact project through the full life cycle. An expert in stakeholder and community engagement practices, you will deliver fit for purpose project to the wider benefit of the Manningham community.

Skills and Experience

  • Equivalent of a Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field with substantial experience in the design and construction supervision of civil projects.
  • A professional with the ability to review and manage the design and construction of complex civil projects.
  • A project delivery professional who can effectively and economically plan, implement, and supervise civil projects to ensure compliance with the contract, Council requirements, industry standards and legislative requirements.
  • A specialist who naturally mentors engineers and fosters an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • A problem solver, able to resolve complex operational and service delivery issues to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Civil Site Design for the design/review of roads, drains and traffic improvement works.
  • Experience and understanding of environmentally sustainable design is desirable.
