SERVICE DESK COORDINATOR

What we are looking for

We are seeking a candidate who is a strong leader with tertiary IT qualifications and at least three years’ experience in a similar support role. You can effectively manage and mentor technical teams, troubleshoot PC hardware and software, and maintain robust IT asset management.

Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills are vital, alongside familiarity with ITIL frameworks, Microsoft 365, TechnologyOne ERP, and Adobe.

A commitment to ongoing professional development completes the profile.

This role is a full-time role, based on site in Mudgee with options of flexible working arrangements.

The gross salary range being offered for this full-time position is $3,670.20-$4,130.30 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $95,425-$107,387 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and support the Service Desk Team to maximise efficient and effective service delivery to Internal and External Stakeholders.
  • Maintain & develop processes and methodologies that promote a stakeholder centric culture.
  • Maintain & develop Service Desk applications, tools, and procedures.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient management of Council’s IT assets using Asset management systems.
  • Provide reporting on operational status of the Service Desk and Service Level Agreements (SLA) targets.
  • Collaborate with internal & external service providers & third parties to ensure effective operations & delivery of exceptional service.
  • Provide consistent and reliable service delivery whilst driving Continual Service Improvement (CSI).
  • Provide timely, effective & proactive communication on Service availability.
  • Assist with the maintenance, development, and delivery of corporate applications to ensure availability, access, and security.
  • Undertake other duties and training as required (including training and documentation) and in accordance with Council’s policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that the work for which they are responsible is carried out in ways which safeguard the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and visitors under their area of responsibility, including contractors.
  • To actively promote and demonstrate the core values and behavioural requirements of the Workplace Environment Statement.
