Your new role

A unique opportunity awaits an experienced, passionate and committed individual to lead the Leisure Services Team at the City of Canning.

As the Service Lead Leisure Facilities, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our centres, leading a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to ensure the efficient management, strategic development, and promotion of the Riverton and Cannington Leisureplex facilities.

Reporting to the Manager Recreation & Leisure, you will drive the success of the Cannington and Riverton Leisureplex and play a key role in shaping the future of the City's leisure services for the community.

What you’ll need to Succeed

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • a customer focused, authentic, service driven leadership style
  • a strong commitment to staff engagement, innovation and continuous improvement
  • ability to drive delivery of strategic and operational outcomes
  • a passion for community health and wellbeing
  • a desire to challenge the status quo
  • previous demonstrated extensive experience, in managing a multi-disciplinary operation
  • qualification in Recreation, Business, Management, Health Promotion or other relevant industry
