About the Role

We’re looking for a Site Compliance Engineer to help maintain safe and efficient traffic conditions across the City’s public road network. In this role, you’ll conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with traffic regulations, while working closely with developers and key stakeholders to minimise construction-related disruptions. You'll also provide expert advice on traffic management plans, enforce road safety standards and contribute to future transport planning initiatives.

 

About You

As a Site Compliance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic management across the City’s public road network during construction periods. Your key responsibilities will include conducting regular site inspections to identify compliance and safety issues, interpreting technical traffic management plans, and advising developers on road safety and regulations. You'll also monitor construction sites to ensure necessary permits are in place, collaborate with key stakeholders to coordinate traffic management, and help enforce penalties for non-compliance.

 

In addition, you will also have:

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil) or any other relevant discipline
  • Class C Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • PWZ Card
  • knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads, Transport for NSW’s Technical Standards, and relevant legislation
  • expertise in resolving traffic issues and reviewing technical traffic documents
  • excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • ability to research and report on traffic-related topics with minimal supervision.

 

Your commencing salary will be in the range from $95,322.42 to $112,003.84 p.a + superannuation depending upon relevant skills and experience.
