The Opportunity

As a Sponsorship Officer at the City of Perth, you will be responsible for managing the annual sponsorship and grants program. With your enthusiasm and strong communication skills, you will work closely with the community to achieve exceptional results for Perth.

Reporting to the Coordinator Sponsorship within our City Events team, your responsibilities would primarily include:

  • Providing a high level of customer service to organisation seeking funding with the City of Perth and forming effective working relationships;
  • Provide specialist funding advice to applicants and internal stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with key internal business units who have strategic objectives aligned to the sponsorships and grants program; and
  • Prepare and review external communications including guidelines, website and promotional material.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience managing sponsorship and grant programs;
  • Experience in preparing and analysing medium to complex report and data;
  • Experience of working in a complex multi-disciplinary environment; and
  • Excellent written communication and relationship building skills.
