The Southern Performance Centre, based at Sutherland Leisure Centre, will nurture and elevate the performance of talented athletes from across New South Wales, providing important pathways for the local community. About The Role

The Squad Coach is responsible for designing and implementing effective training programs, leading practise sessions, and fostering a strong sense of team unity.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coaching, a deep understanding of the sport, and the ability to inspire and motivate. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to athlete development.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced coach who is eager to contribute to the growth of our athletes and the overall success of the team.

  • Proven experience in coaching, preferably at a competitive level.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
  • Knowledge of the sport's technical and tactical aspects.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive team environment and will have a keen ability to engage with swimmers of various skill levels, helping them to develop their talents and achieve their individual goals.

  • Package: $62,916 - $66,690 (FTE) gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation (paid pro rata to hours worked).
  • Hours of work: Permanent Part-Time 6 - 8.25 hours per week. Applicants must be willing to work hours across a 7 day a week spread (Monday-Sunday).
