ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably skilled individual to join Council's Facilities Management team.
The position of Store Officer is responsible for the provision of high level customer service to Council’s clients in general store functions, including the issuance of stock and ordering of goods in accordance with Council policies and procedures. The position will work closely with a small team to maintain Council’s store and its operation in an efficient and orderly manner.
To be successful you will bring

- Demonstrated experience in working in a store or warehousing environment including use of computerised ordering systems and replenishment and issue of store stock.
- Demonstrated experience in forklift operations.
- Proven highly developed customer service and administration skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Concern for neatness and accuracy of work, with a methodical and organised approach.
The rewards
- An annual salary range of $61,500 to $70,500 (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
- 9 day fortnight working arrangement. Full time field staff will have the option to apply to work a compressed four day work week, subject to operational and team based requirements and approval.
