Store Person - Depot Logistics
Temporary Full-time Opportunity until June 2025
38 hours a week - Work a 9-day Fortnight (Rostered Day Off)
Salary Ranging from $35.81 - $41.62 per hour + 11.5% Superannuation (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

 

The Opportunity

The Stores and Depot Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and materials, managing store stock, and ensuring the proper organisation and maintenance of depot yards, specifically at Moss Vale Depot and Drapers Road site. This position plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with Council policies, and safety within the depot environment. The officer will coordinate various logistics and maintenance tasks to support operational activities and contribute to the smooth functioning of the depot operations.

Essential Criteria

  1. Experience in Warehousing Operations OR Cert II, III or IV in Warehousing operations.
  2. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of warehousing, managing stores and materials and purchasing functions.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and members of a team.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly motivated and enthusiastic team.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of word processing packages, database, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Work Health & Safety legislation and responsibilities.
  7. Valid Construction General Induction card - NSW Work Cover or equivalent OR willingness to obtain.
  8. Competency in operations of a frontend loader.
  9. Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
