About the Opportunity

Are you an organised, fast learner with strong IT skills and a passion for customer service? We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person to join our collaborative team on a 12-month contract. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth and timely processing of store-related functions, while implementing and monitoring efficient processes and procedures. Your contribution will help maintain a customer-focused environment, providing professional and courteous service through telephone, counter inquiries, and correspondence.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience using IT systems, particularly computerised Purchasing and Inventory Management Software. You will need excellent communication skills, the ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team. A qualification in purchasing or stores administration is required, along with a Class C driver’s license. Experience in local government or stores, and possession of a forklift/loader ticket would be highly desirable.

Remuneration

$59,644 - $69,061 per annum plus superannuation
