About the role

You may have noticed several open recruitment positions – and there’s a great reason for it! We’ve just completed an exciting restructure within our Leisureplex facilities, leading to well-deserved internal promotions and the creation of new roles.

Are you passionate for creating opportunities for our community to stay active, connected and healthy through sport and recreation initiatives? As the Supervisor Programs, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating a variety of sport and recreation programs at the Cannington and Riverton Leisureplexes. Apply today!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing sports and recreation programs including school holiday programs, term-based activities and team sports
  • Overseeing program scheduling, staffing, equipment maintenance and financial management
  • Driving customer engagement by enhancing retention, visitation and revenue
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service and public relations
  • Managing marketing and advertising initiatives including social media content, brochures and events
  • Supervising staff, fostering accountability and maintaining a strong culture
  • Ensuring safety, compliance and operational efficiency across programs

About you:

  • Previous experience in the Leisure, Sports or Recreation Industry
  • Strong leadership, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in using Envibe booking systems or similar software
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, problem-solving and time management
  • Able to work flexible hours across both Leisureplex locations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
  • Previous experience working with all ability groups
  • Working with Children Check, Provide First Aid and Driver’s Licence
  • Current satisfactory National Police Clearance (within six months validity)
  • Experience in coaching and fitness would be highly regarded
