Systems Development Officer - Assets (2 Year Contract)
Location: Tamworth, NSW / Hybrid
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Support the establishment, implementation, development and maintenance of TRC’s Enterprise Asset Management System including the system tools and procedures that support its functionality
- Assist with the ongoing development and integration of asset databases and deliver training for end users across Council
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimised outcomes and increase efficiencies

Tamworth Regional Council is in the middle of a digital transformation where we are implementing the latest TechnologyOne applications to benefit our workforce and our community. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Officer - Assets to join our team and contribute to the success of our project initiatives. You will have the ability to influence, negotiate and tailor your message as well as experience planning and forecasting project tasks.
The Systems Development Officer - Assets is responsible for:
- Develop and maintain the structure, integrity and currency of councils work order system within an integrated enterprise asset management solution
- Provide technical guidance, support and training with regard to development and support of the organisation’s work orders and asset lifecycle applications across multiple business areas
- Provide reporting, day to day administration and supporting functions by utilizing data obtained from Council’s work orders, asset management, GIS and financial systems
- Facilitate workshops to generate business process reviews with the objective of obtaining the maximum benefit out of corporate applications
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Degree in Information Technology and/or Business Management or equivalent
- Drivers Licence

Salary range: Grade 15 - $86,308.58 - $93,394.43 per annum plus superannuation for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be enhanced by additional market allowance, negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
Based on the implementation of the digital transformation project, potential ongoing employment may be available pending operational requirements.
