Description

The Hills Shire Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Team Leader of Aquatic Operations to be responsible for the day-to-day management of Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre. This includes overseeing pool lifeguard staff, as well as overseeing pool plant operations and maintaining water safety best practice.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Prior leadership experience overseeing aquatic operations in a multipurpose aquatic center.
  • Ability to lead a pool lifeguard team, including performance management.
  • Ability to maintain daily operations are carried out according to Venue Operations Manual.
  • Maintain excellent standards of water quality in line with NSW Health Department Guidelines.
  • Manage service level agreements with contractors such as for pool plant.

What are we seeking in our new team member:

  • Significant experience in an aquatic operations leadership role
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Aquatic Technical Operations
  • First Aid – CPR

Benefits of working with us:
Salary from $92K to $98K per annum commensurate with experience, plus superannuation and weekend penalty rates. Opportunity to take part in the organisation’s bonus scheme, and opportunity to participate in a 9-day fortnight work arrangement.
