Title: Team Leader, Cemeteries, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $98787.69 to $114807.35 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Property, Buildings, and Beach Services Business Unit is responsible for the management of Northern Beaches Council’s extensive property portfolio, as well as the delivery of lifeguarding and beach safety services along our stunning coastline. This unit encompasses a wide range of services including Building Assets, Facilities Management, Property Management & Commercial, and Beach Services. Our aim is to ensure the effective and sustainable use of Council’s assets, providing high-quality facilities and safe, enjoyable beach experiences for our community.

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of cemetery operations, including grounds maintenance, burial services, customer service, and administrative tasks.
- Work closely with families to provide compassionate and professional assistance in all aspects of their cemetery needs, including plot selection, burial arrangements, and monument installation.
- Manage the cemetery budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses, revenue, and capital expenditures.
