Your Position:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader - Civil Signs to supervise a small team in the construction and maintenance of Council's assets including traffic and road signs, footpaths and, roads.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Planning, scheduling, and prioritising traffic sign installation and maintenance projects
- Leading a team to deliver high-quality civil services including footpath and roads maintenance
- Conducting site inductions and managing contractor activities on-site as required
- Conducting daily risk assessments, inspection of vehicles and plant, and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating effectively with team members, the public, and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- MR Drivers Licence
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Construction Cert II or III and/or Leadership training
- Current Traffic Controllers Certificate and Implement
Traffic Control Plans
Key Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination for all employees (2 Vaccines)
- Willingness to complete a National Police History Check
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment health assessment
