About the Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor Concrete & Drainage, this position will:

  • Construct and maintain storm water drains, kerbs, gutters and footpaths.
  • Operate a variety of plant such as backhoe, excavator, skid steer, loader in accordance with relevant qualifications and within Council policies.
  • Supervise, lead and mentor relevant staff and contractors in order to undertake assigned works timely and to a quality standard

About you:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role including stormwater drainage construction, concreting, labouring as well as operating plant (such as backhoe, excavator, skid steer, loader)
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
  • Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or similar
  • Current Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
