Position: Park Maintenance Team Leader Cecil Hills

Permanent Full-Time role 36 hours, 4 Days per week

Location: 99 Rose Street Liverpool

Salary: $74968.11 - $82,142.39

Join our team as a Park Maintenance Team Leader and be at the forefront of maintaining Cecil Hills' outdoor areas! Here are some of the key responsibilities:

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Parks Open Spaces Maintenance: Lead a dedicated team in the upkeep and beautification of Cecil Hills' parks and outdoor areas, ensuring they remain pristine and inviting for the community.
  • Plant and Machinery Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of all plant and machinery equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition for efficient park maintenance operations.
  • Work Health and Safety (WHS): Champion a culture of safety within the team, ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with WHS regulations and best practices and to identify any risks or hazards occurring within the work sit.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment where each member can reach their full potential.
  • Service Delivery: coordinate duties to deliver outcomes within industry standards, environmental guidelines and within timeframes.

ABOUT YOU:

The successful applicant will have:

  • Horticulture, Arboriculture, Green Keeping qualification or Proven experience in parks maintenance or a related field.
  • Current MR Drivers License
  • General Construction White Card
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent knowledge of plant and machinery operations and maintenance.
  • Thorough understanding of WHS regulations and practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
