About the role

The role of Team Leader Process and Projects will provide day to day strategic leadership to a team of professional staff to oversee the delivery of operational initiatives and infrastructure objectives. This role will see you contribute to the day-to-day work and functioning of the Treatment Plants and Catchments Section through collaboration with the wider Water and Sewer Directorate to complete the programs and projects that impact the Section. 

Additionally, this role will see you use your experience in the operational aspects of water and sewerage treatment facilities to lead and assist in investigating faults, complex process/ operational issues and providing technical input and advice to staff across the Unit as required. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree qualification in Science, Civil / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or related field and demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development. 
  • A current Class C Drivers Licence. 
  • A current Confined Spaces Certification. 
  • A Valid Construction General Induction Card SafeWork NSW or equivalent. 
  • Experience and skills in motivating, leading and supporting employees and coordinating the activities of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve outcomes. 
  • Experience in the operational aspects of water and sewerage treatment facilities, and the associated regulatory and reporting requirements.

Other important information

  • The salary range for this position ranges between $99.7k to $119.6k per annum plus market loading (dependent on skills and experience for the right candidate) plus 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance (in accordance with the Award) plus 11.5% superannuation 
  • We have a permanent full-time role available. 
  • This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite. 
  • This role is located at the Nexus Business Hub, North Wyong.
