The role

We are seeking a dynamic Training Specialist to join our Business Transformation Program (BTP) at MidCoast Council. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating and delivering the training for the Business Transformation Program with the support of a pre-developed training strategy and overarching Change Management activities.

With the Business Transformation Program well underway, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of exciting organizational changes that directly enhance the delivery of services to the MidCoast region.

What you'll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources, training and development or business administration. 
  • Experience in designing and implementing training strategies.
  • Experience in designing learning materials and delivering training on software products.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to build professional relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.

Salary: Commencing salary circa $83,460 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Fixed term contract to March 2026.

Closing date: Sunday 16 March 2025 at 11.30 pm.
