Based at the City’s Works Depot in Crocker Street, Rockingham, you will work in a team and be responsible for undertaking maintenance of parks and gardens within the City’s trees.
You will possess excellent team working skills and experience in parks and gardens maintenance or related industries.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Verbal communication/customer service skills
- Able to prioritise work and manage own time
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to work to WHS guidelines
- Well motivated and keen to learn new skills
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and grounds maintenance
- Experience in parks and gardens maintenance or related industries
- Experience with dealing with the public
- Current ‘HR’ class driver’s licence
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)
This position offers a weekly wage of $1,403 (gross) which incorporates all allowances and penalty rates, as well as:
- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
- A variety of health and wellbeing programs including a physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
