Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an innovative Council seeking to make a positive difference in the community you support? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Truck Driver/Street Cleanser to join our team.

Located on the lower North Shore, our leafy suburbs have a vibrant and diverse village atmosphere. We aim to provide "best value" services and facilities to the community whilst ensuring a sustainable future.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring clean and accessible streets, public areas, and transport infrastructure for the community. The position holder will be required to have a MR truck licence and operate the truck. This role is part of a small team and will also be required to clean various other council assets and amenities.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Current Class MR Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to commence work at 4am.
  • Experience maintaining cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions.
  • Experience dealing with the public and awareness of excellent customer service.

Salary range - Up to $79K per annum (incl super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate.
