An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled and dedicated Turf expert to join our Parks and Reserves - Sportsfields team, based at St Leonards Park Depot, North Sydney.
The role
This pivotal role involves leading the Sportsfields team and overseeing the management and upkeep of the Council's sportsfields, including the renowned North Sydney Oval and Bon Andrews Oval.
Reporting to the Manager of Parks & Reserves, this position plays a key role in driving the success of the Council’s program objectives by:
- Maintaining, managing, and developing Council’s Active Sportsfield assets
- Planning, resourcing and administration of the Sportsfield operation
- Monitoring and reporting on performance
- Development of improved procedures
- Maintaining a commitment to Council corporate objectives and goals
- Managing and motivating staff, in a constructive manner, to optimise performance and engagement

Salary Range: $104,209 to $124,435 per annum + Tool of Trade Leaseback vehicle with parking on-site + 11.5% superannuation
76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off
