ABOUT THE ROLE

The Visitor Information Centre Concierge plays an integral part in the day to day operations of the Visitor Information Centre. This role will be responsible for delivering efficient, courteous and effective customer service that reflects positively upon, and is in line with Narrabri Shire Councils core values.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and accurate information to all visitors of the Narrabri Region Visitor Information Centre.
  • Providing a professional reception service, including cash handling, office procedures, receipting, banking, postal requirements.
  • Promoting and assisting visitors to the Narrabri Region Visitor Information Centre with information requested on topics such as products and services (accommodation, events, attractions, retail).

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate should be a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual with demonstrated experience. They should possess skills that attribute to a proven record of achievements. Your relevant experience will see you undertake market research and prepare marketing and promotional campaigns with ease. You will have the ability to establish and maintain a strong rapport with both internal and external stakeholders and have a demonstrated ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
