As the Water
and Sewer Reticulation Maintenance Coordinator – West, you’ll lead a dynamic
team, ensuring the maintenance and conformity of the water supply and sewer reticulation
systems for continuous service to the Dubbo local government area. While
ensuring compliance with industry standards and Australian Drinking Water
Guidelines.

Your water and
sewerage reticulation assets maintenance experience, strong leadership skills,
critical thinking, and understanding of legislation including WHS, will
allow you to play a vital role in delivering water and sewer services to the

You’ll make
an impact by:

  • Overseeing relevant
    water supply and sewerage networks maintenance to ensure continuous supply
    of water and sewer services to meet Customers Services Standards
  • Ensure provision of 24-hour
    emergency response to address reticulation failures.
  • Ensuring the maintenance
    of Council Water supply and Sewerage assets in accordance with Council's
    policies and manual procedures to meet Council's objectives as set out in
    Council's Management Plan
  • Development and Implementation of Maintenace programs and schedules
  • Assisting with the
    development and implementation of policies, procedures, and safety systems
  • Supervising your team
    and their duties ensuring that individual accountabilities and performance
    are monitored and achieved


What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Certification IV in Water Operations (Reticulation) or related discipline or willingness to obtain within two years and/or relevant experience.
  • Solid experience in supervision
    of water or sewage Reticulation Maintenance including
    associated staff
  • General Construction Induction Card and Class C drivers’ licence
  • Intermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft suits and experience in Smartsheet operations / data entry and computer programs.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication

We would also love you to have:

  • Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan Ticket
    (PWZ)
  • Backflow Prevention Device Testing and
    Maintenance Certificate

  • MR Licence

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $91,168 to $105,950.
