SALARY: $1,438.47 - 1,647.86 pw + Super

Work Type: Temporary Full Time up to 3 years

Join one of the fastest growing Council's in Australia as a Temporary Full Time Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) Officer. To become part of our team, you will bring with you experience to undertake inspection and maintenance of vegetated Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) assets; biofilters (basins, tree pits, swales), wetlands, floating wetlands, vegetated buffer strips and swales, above-ground on-site stormwater detention (OSD) systems, temporary sediment basins, and other or surrounding vegetated assets.

Essential:

  • Relevant Cert III qualification in Conservation and Land Management, Conservation and Ecosystem Management, Horticulture or equivalent.
  • Experience in inspection and maintenance of vegetated WSUD assets, natural areas and landscaped areas.
  • Have obtained or have ability to obtain and maintain, WHS White card, Chemical application AQF 3 or equivalent.
  • Plant and weed identification skills.
  • Ability to read plans and technical drawings associated with vegetated WSUD assets.
  • Class C drivers licence.

Desirable:

  • Ability to use electronic records management systems.
  • Experience with contract supervision.
