About the Role

Are you ready to be the forefront of water services coordination and shape the future of water delivery in Narrabri Shire? As a Water Services Coordinator, your role will be nothing short of trailblazing. You'll coordinate the efficient delivery, operation, maintenance, and construction activities of the Narrabri Water Services department. 

• Provide support and recommendations to our Water Services Engineers
• Coordinate the proper operation and maintenance of treatment plants, water supply bores, and infrastructure
• Assist with enforcement and implementation of legislation, standards, and Council policies
• Ensure quality control of work conducted by the team and external contractors
• Prepare quotes and assessments for water and sewer infrastructure

About You

The successful candidate for the Water Services Coordinator role will be someone who not only meets our requirements but thrives in this dynamic team-environment. Here's what we're looking for: 

• Certificate III in Water Operations and/or equivalent demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in water and wastewater infrastructure and project management 
• Strong time management skills to effectively priorities tasks and meet deadlines  
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Sound computer literacy to utilise our various software and systems 
• Substantial experience in leading and managing employees
