The Role

Reporting to the Weighbridge
Supervisor and based at the Waste Management Facility in South Windsor, the
purpose of this position is to deliver an excellent customer service experience
to both internal and external customers as well as to ensure the accurate and
timely completion of all tasks relating to the weighbridge by ensuring it is
running smoothly and efficiently at all times.

We are currently seeking casual and
part time Weighbridge Attendants.

Casual Position:

  • Adhoc hours of work, may include shifts on
    Saturdays/ Sundays
  • Hours of operation are between 7.30am-4.00pm,
    start and finish times will be between these times
  • Casual rate/ Grade 8: $43.31 per hour includes
    25% casual loading (penalty rates paid on top of base rate - as per award)

Part Time Position:

  • Consistent hours & rotational roster
  • 3 days per week / including weekends
  • Part Time Rate/ Grade 8: $34.65 per hour
  • Accrual of leave including annual and sick
    leave

About You

You will have good communication and interpersonal skills and a
proven ability to effectively work under pressure with limited supervision. You
will be adept at handling difficult customer interactions and resolving
customer disputes.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience with basic office administration
  • Experience with operating a computer-based
    accounting system
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Experience dealing with the public and money
    handling
  • Experience performing reconciliations
  • Experience in operating automated weighbridge
    and associated computer system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with
    internal and external stakeholders and customers
  • Class C Drivers Licence
  • WHS General Construction Work in NSW
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
