The Opportunity

Council is seeking an experienced WHS professional to join our team and  play a lead role in facilitating and fostering a proactive safety culture within our organisation.

What you’ll need:

• Relevant qualifications in WHS coupled with solid contemporary experience in a WHS role
• Sound working knowledge of and demonstrated ability to interpret and apply WHS legislation and regulations
• Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of WHS policies, procedures and safe systems of work
• Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment and safety auditing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive safety culture
• Ability to analyse data, write reports and make recommendations to improve safety outcomes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other corporate software
• Current driver’s licence

• Annual salary range $86,344 to $99,994 (plus super), depending on skills and experience
