The Labour Market Update is a quarterly report that provides information about issues affecting the Australian labour market.

The March 2024 update highlights:

The Australian labour market displayed remarkable resilience over the March quarter 2024, with supporting data from the ABS, along with JSA data (IVI, REOS).
The variation in recruitment activity at the regional level.
Detailed analyses of the likelihood of filling vacancies for occupations where there is a gender imbalance in the workforce. The relationship between regions’ historical and current labour market strength and the successive technological disruptions faced by journalists and the news media sector.
